Contract Administration

  • Appointment of design consultants

  • Inviting and processing tenders
  • Preparing schedules of works
  • Preparing contract documentation
  • Appointing, managing and co-ordinating the design team
  • Issuing instructions and dealing with payment provisions
  • Managing change control procedure
  • Preparing and issuing construction progress reports and chairing meetings
  • Assessing claims for extensions of time and loss and expense
  • Offering dispute avoidance and resolution advice
  • Dealing with completion and possession issues
  • Advising all parties of their contractual rights and obligations
  • Collating and issuing schedules of defects
  • Issuing the certificate of making good defects and final certificate
  • Work in accordance with RICS contract administration guidance
